About Us

Mohammed has over 27 years experience in the pharmacy profession and is a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

A concept in the making as far back as 1999, the Rx Advisor pharmacist team continues to be a trusted training provider in the healthcare and pharmacy sector. We work to deliver real world solutions for NHS organisations, GP practices, and community pharmacies.
Our course was originally designed by Mohammed Ibrahim, who is a registered and practicing clinical pharmacist independent prescriber in community pharmacy and in GP practice. Mohammed has over 27 years’ experience in the pharmacy profession and is a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. He is a qualified trainer, assessor and internal quality assurer, and is also employed as a Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission as well as a Mentor for the GP practice pharmacist training programme by the University of Manchester.
Mohammed has always been passionate about better utilising the skills of pharmacists, he was one of the first pharmacists to work as a full-time GP practice pharmacist, and, he was also one of the first pharmacists to qualify as a prescriber. He has won several awards for his innovative work in GP practice and community pharmacy.
Our Flu Jab Training course was originally developed in 2009 in response to being commissioned by NHS England to deliver vaccination for healthcare professionals. In 2015 we refined our course to meet the requirements of the NHS pharmacy flu vaccination service.
We were the first training provider to specialise in delivering flu vaccination training for pharmacists in 2015. Since then, we have trained thousands of pharmacists across the United Kingdom. Our course is designed to meet the needs of busy pharmacists with an emphasis on convenient online learning, and comprehensive practical workshop training.
As well as our schduled workshops, we have been commissioned as a partner by the Pharmacy Show since 2017, and preferred training provider for CAMRX, the Pharmacist Cooperative, and other national multiple pharmacy chains. We have also been commissioned as the provider of choice to deliver training to GP practice pharmacist groups and hospital pharmacists too!
We believe our course is the most relevant and convenient course for pharmacists – both experienced and newly-qualified.

Why pharmacists choose our course?

Our course is the only course that is designed and delivered by practicing clinical pharmacists with experience of delivering vaccination services in community pharmacy, GP practice and hospitals.

Whilst comprehensive, it’s designed in a manner which offers the convenience of online learning together with a practical workshop session to help improve injection administration skills and CPR.

Our course caters for community pharmacists, GP practice pharmacists and hospital pharmacists. Other healthcare professionals, including nurses and GP practice support staff, are also welcome to attend.
